Kelley Blue Book followed up today with their bid for our used 2020 Bolt EV from two weeks ago. They wanted to up their bid—since I hadn’t taken it. Today they raised their bid to $8,888 up from $8,300. Not as much as a jump as Carvana’s. (See Trump Pump: Price of Used Bolt EV Increases 16% in Two Weeks.)
The Ford dealer called, then the Volkswagen dealer. Now the Ford dealer is offering $10,000 in writing. So the Ford dealer raised their offer from $8,300 to $10,000 that’s a 20% jump in two weeks.
None have met the $10,400 that Carvana paid me.
Odd that there’s such a sudden interest in used EVs. Tragic really. Wars do that I guess.
