The Wulf Test Field is situated at latitude 35° 4’20.64″N and longitude 118°23’40.12″W and is at an elevation of 4,600 feet (1,400 m) on the north facing flanks of the Tehachapi Mountains in the Busee Hills.

The following view is to the north. Tehachapi-Willow Springs Rd is on the left and Tehachapi is in the distance. The white hill in the distance is the quarry for the Monolith cement plant.
Oak Creek Pass is in the distance in this view to the south. The CalWind site is on the right side of Tehachapi-Willow Springs Rd at the crest of the pass.
In this view to the west, Tehachapi Mountain and Mountain Meadows is in the distance.
The view to the east shows the former Zond wind plant in the Busee Hills that separate the Tehachapi Valley and Mojave.
