The Small Wind Conference has chosen Paul Gipe as its keynote speaker for its 2017 conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Calling Gipe “legendary” for his four decades writing about wind energy, the conference is the principal North American venue for the small wind industry.
The 13th Annual Small Wind Conference will be held April 10-11, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza AiRE, Bloomington, MN, near Minneapolis’ international airport.
The conference is a gathering of installers, manufacturers, dealers, distributors, teachers, and advocates for small and distributed wind turbines in North America.
In 2013 the Small Wind Conference presented Gipe its Lifetime Achievement Award–a 24-inch long Klein wrench–for his work.
Gipe is the author of Wind Energy for the Rest of Us, a comprehensive guide to both small and large wind turbines.
