A doctor at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital called my attention to six new public Level 2 charge stations that were recently installed.
There’s a lot of construction around the Emergency Room entrance so when I went there the stations were difficult to find. Once I got to them I found five of the six stations were ICEd. The sixth had a BMW i3 charging.
There are three dual-head ChargePoint terminals.
There was no signage and parking was at a premium. If nothing is done, these stations will be next to useless. They will be constantly ICEd and no one will be able to get in and charge.
