The California Energy Commission (CEC) issued a document July 27, 2015 that called for proposals to complete California’s portion of the West Coast Electric Highway.
The document, http://www.energy.ca.gov/contracts/GFO-15-601/00-GFO_15-601_Application_Manual.doc, called for new CHAdeMO DC fast charging stations at Lost Hills, Coalinga, Tulare, and Lebec.
Previously, the CEC had awarded a contract for a station on Laval Road near the Tejon Outlet Mall. The contractor expected the station to be completed sometime this fall. However, there has been no word on whether the project is on schedule or not.
