The Swiss manufacturer Elektro was a product of the 1960s. Like Australia’s Dunlite, the Elektro was used during the 1970s because there really wasn’t anything else available.

The turbine used pitch weights to regulate the rotor, but the design was unusual. The pitch weights, or bars, slid inside a tube on the rotor hub in contrast the typical flyball governors of the period.

Some versions of the Elektro used a servomotor to yaw the tail vane out of the wind.
