Malt-O-Meal, now MOM’s Best Cereals, advertises renewable energy on a series of cereal boxes and bags.

Despite the main plant’s location in Northfield, Minnesota where there are two  large wind turbines, MOM’s buys wind energy credits to offset its consumption of electricity in the manufacture of these and other cereals.
