As my friend Mark Haller said, the whiplash from GM’s about face is making him dizzy. And, it’s not just him. Stunning is the word that comes to my mind.
Who knows what happens inside that tower block in Detroit. Maybe Kyle Connor’s video of him shouting at Mary Barra got to her after all.
For whatever reason, GM made the right decision—eventually—to bring the Bolt back. If they actually follow through, I may have to take back some of the comments I’ve made about GM and their brain dead blunders.
Disclosure: I worked for GM from 1968 to 1970 as a cooperative engineering student before they fired me. So there’s no love lost between us.
