Massachusetts Study Finds Property Values Increase Slightly Near Operating Wind Turbines

In a surprising finding, a joint study by the University of Connecticut and
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center concluded that property values increased slightly near operating wind turbines. The increase, though measurable, was not statistically significant. Still, the finding will surely put a dent in the argument of critics that charge–often without evidence–that wind turbines reduce property values.
