Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is proposing some changes to its groundbreaking solar PV feed-in tariff. Significantly, GRU proposes a new tranche: <10 kw for both rooftop and groundmounted systems.
- Capacity freed up each year for new participation
- New tier for small primarily residential systems
- New application fees to put “skin in the game”
- New project limits – 300kw for a single rooftop system, 1MW for single groundmount
- 2011 start charging monthly metering charges
