Toward the end of 2022 and the beginning of this year, several articles have chosen the current version of the Chevy Bolt as a best buy. When you get right down to it, there are not many inexpensive EVs. In North America, the Bolt is about it.
All three articles are of interest, but Seth Weintraub’s article from Elektrek is by someone who knows EVs inside and out. He had not only leased a Bolt in the past but he currently owns a Tesla Model Y and a Model 3. I think in the end, he bought a Bolt for his mother and then later went back and got another one for his family.
