The following two sections are archival photographs of FloWind’s phi-configuration Darrieus Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs) installed during the mid 1980s.

The first is a series of photos of FloWind’s 17-meter diameter and 19-meter diameter Darrieus turbines in California’s Altamont and Tehachapi passes.

The second is a series of installation photos of FloWind’s experimental 25-meter diameter Darrieus turbine on Cameron Ridge in the Tehachapi Pass.
